Anthony is eager to compete.
Rutgers national champion Anthony Ashnault was forced to drop out of the WTT challenge tournament finals due to injury.
Ashnault suffered a knee injury during the first leg of his best-of-three final round showdown with Green and was forced to medically forfeit the second bout, giving the two-time world medalist a 2-0 win at 70 kilograms in the senior men’s freestyle World Team Trials Challenge Tournament on Sunday in Raleigh, North Carolina.
He is currently recovering from surgery and is expected to recover and be back on the mats soon! Once back in the room and on the mats, we'll update you with where and when he will be competing next.
